The route

A40 then A43 through Annecy, Albertville and Moûtiers. The N90 Tarentaise road then follows the valley up to Moûtiers, where the twenty-kilometre climb to Courchevel begins, on regular and well-maintained hairpins.

The French-Swiss border crossing requires nothing from you and carries no administrative surcharge.

The resort levels

Courchevel is built across several villages and we serve all of them: Courchevel 1850, Moriond 1650, Village 1550 and Le Praz 1300. Each has its own access roads and parking constraints, 1850 especially in high season. Tell us the level and the exact address when you book.

The Saturday trap

The Tarentaise absorbs the changeover traffic of the whole of Savoie. On Saturdays in January and February the valley is saturated from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. A journey of two hours fifteen can then take three and a half.

In that case we suggest a very early or late-afternoon departure. It is the only lever that genuinely works, and it costs nothing.
