The route

The journey runs on the A1 and then the A9 along Lake Geneva, through Lausanne, Montreux and Martigny. That stretch is fast and rarely troublesome. The part that demands attention starts after Martigny: the Bagnes valley up to Le Châble, then the fifteen-kilometre climb to Verbier, tight hairpins that are frequently under snow between December and March.

That final section is exactly why we do not send a driver who is seeing the road for the first time. Our cars make the Verbier climb all season long.

Drop-off

Verbier is open to traffic, so we can drop you directly at your chalet or hotel, including the hamlets above the resort. Give us the exact address when you book: the resort is built across several levels and access differs noticeably between the centre, Médran and upper Verbier.

When to book

Verbier draws an international crowd that arrives in waves, mostly on Saturdays. For Saturdays in January and February, book a week ahead. Midweek, twenty-four hours is usually enough. Late December and the British school holidays are the tightest days of the season.
