Geneva to Val d'Isère. To the far end of the Tarentaise.
The highest resort in the valley, below the Iseran. Two hours forty-five on the road, the last hour of it in the mountains: a journey best left to a chauffeur who knows it.

Book this journeyThe route
The journey follows the Tarentaise through Albertville, Moûtiers and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then climbs the upper Isère valley through Sainte-Foy and Tignes-les-Brévières to Val d'Isère. The last thirty kilometres are proper mountain road, with tunnels and bends, and call for winter experience.
Drop-off
We drop you at your chalet or hotel door, in the centre as well as at La Daille or Le Fornet. Give us the exact address when booking. Tignes is on the same road: a transfer to Tignes costs the same, CHF 700 in the E-Class.
When to book
Saturdays from December to March are the busiest, with traffic from the whole Tarentaise. Allow a week's notice on those dates. We suggest a departure time that avoids the peak hours.
On arrival
The chauffeur unloads the luggage and ski equipment to the chalet or hotel entrance. Need a stop on the way, for groceries or ski hire? It can be arranged for CHF 40, to mention when booking. Think about the return too: booked at the same time, it saves any last-minute search on departure day.
