After Albertville, the road climbs the whole Tarentaise valley to Bourg-Saint-Maurice and on to the Chevril dam. The final climb to Tignes, above the lake, is often snowy: winter tyres and chains on board from October to April.
Tignes le Lac, Val Claret, Les Brévières
Tignes is made up of several villages: Tignes 1800, Le Lavachet, Tignes le Lac, Val Claret and, lower down, Les Brévières. Give us the name of your residence or chalet and we drop you as close as the open roads allow.
Tignes and Val d'Isère
The ski area is linked to Val d'Isère, a few minutes' drive away. We can combine drop-offs if your group is split between the two resorts. See also our Geneva to Val d'Isère page.
On arrival
The chauffeur unloads the luggage and ski equipment to the chalet or hotel entrance. Need a stop on the way, for groceries or ski hire? It can be arranged for CHF 40, to mention when booking. Think about the return too: booked at the same time, it saves any last-minute search on departure day.
